The successful candidate must have an engineering background and over 10 years of experience (PE required). Experience in performing engineering studies of contaminated sites and existing facilities which have the potential to produce environmental impacts. Responsibilities: Design and direct field investigations and remediation programs for multiple on-going projects. Provide engineering oversight for field operations. Develop environmental management plans at industrial, commercial or municipal sites for stormwater management, spill prevention and control, surface or ground water discharges or wastewater. Participate in marketing and business development related to the firms engineering activities. Schedule, coordinate, and supervise contractors, prepare written reports and proposals, and prepare and track project budgets.
Skills: Thorough knowledge of State and Federal regulations related to petroleum and hazardous waste. Experience in all phases of engineering projects from permitting and investigation through conceptual solutions, design and construction. Strong organizational skills needed.
Education: BS/MS in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering discipline or earth sciences field; Minimum of 10 years experience; and PE required (Northeast states preferred). LSP certification a plus.
