FPC Bangor is currently looking for Sr. Project Engineer - Process Control/Instrumentation candidates.

The Senior Project Engineer will have responsibility for engineering and design of industrial process control systems, including overseeing installation and assisting with commissioning and start-up of new paper mill process control components or systems, administering capital projects (project management) as required and assisting in the development and effective execution of the capital program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist the Project Manager with the development and implementation of capital projects for new systems and equipment. Manage assigned capital projects as required.
• Responsible for effective project management; project team leadership, coordination and administration of projects
• Responsible for all phases of capital project engineering and design activity
• Oversee construction work performed by mill maintenance and/or outside contractors during installation, commissioning and start up of assigned projects.
• Coordinate all activity and equipment start-up with Mill Management.
• Assist mill maintenance and production departments in troubleshooting and correction of equipment and process problems.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
• BS or MS in Engineering, preferably Electrical, Chemical or Paper Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in a process-related industrial facility and/or an industrial consulting engineering design firm with relevant hands on experience, including project management experience.
• Working knowledge of various DCS control systems including experience with Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLCs, lntellution/Wonderware HMI, and ABB QCS Systems.
• International project experience desirable.
• Professional engineering license preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred.
