District / Regional Manager - LIHTC / HUD Portfolio

FPC Bangor is currently working with a National Management Company of LIHTC and HUD multifamily housing properties. This client is seeking a District Manager for their Mid-Atlantic portfolio covering 1137 units in 4 states. (DC, VA, NY & NJ)
The District Manager will report directly to the President of the Management Company and will work closely with other senior corporate staff, including the Controller, and Asset Management staff.
The primary responsibilities of this position are managing on-site staff, leasing & resident retention, tenant relations, maintenance, all regulatory compliance, inspections, reporting to senior/corporate level staff, and creating and monitoring budgets.
Skills required include knowledge of affordable housing regulations/programs, property management and maintenance systems and processes, RealPage/OneSite software and at least 5 years of direct experience managing multiple properties of affordable housing. The ability to travel regularly is imperative.
The compensation package for this position will range from $70-90k.
