Real Estate Investment

Positions in this market can range from property management, syndication, investment, development, & lending. Most of these positions are working with multifamily residential portfolios or commercial real estate – both affordable and conventionally financed. A large percentage of the positions in this industry are involved in the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, either through managing the assets, syndicating the credits, or developing the new deals. The industry today is trending towards more positions in Asset Management, Special Servicing, Compliance and Investment Management positions rather than Development, Acquisitions or Originations, but this is likely to even out as the market improves later this year.
